Dorothy Shamonsky I have over thirty years of experience in the field of interface design and user experience. My goals include creating stunning interfaces on cutting-edge products, educating designers and writing about UX design. I am currently employed as Director of UX R&D at Boston UX, Waltham MA. I am also Adjunct Professor in the User-Centered Design Program, Brandeis University, Waltham MA.
Prior to my current position, I was Interactive TV Producer for MTV/Viacom and also taught at the Interactive Telecommunications Program, NYU and the Computer Graphics Department, Pratt Institute. I possess a PhD and MS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design.
