A Practical Guide to Information Architecture

A Practical Guide to Information Architecture

Information architecture is critical to ensuring websites and services are easy to use and navigate. A well organized IA makes for a better user experience, improved productivity, less frustration, more satisfaction, and in the end, happier customers.

In this session we’ll explore how to build, improve and iterate on your IA to give you the confidence you need to make the right design decisions.

Whether building a new website from scratch or evaluating an existing solution, you’ll walk away with a practical understanding of how and when to use card sorting and tree testing methods, along with a set of checklists and guides to ensure you’re set up for success when your next project rolls around.

This workshop is aimed at beginners or anyone with an intermediate skill level wanting to further their knowledge of information architecture.

This will be a hands-on workshop and participants are encouraged to bring their own device (though this is not compulsory!).
